Prayer Promptings

At this point in our lives, most of us have learned to pray.  We have raised our family, faced uncertainty, and overcome obstacles that tested our faith.  One of the most meaningful ministries we can have is to pray for others.

  • Pray for young mothers who juggle family, work, and personal time.
  • Pray for missionaries both in the U.S. and overseas.  Stay aware of security alerts and intercede specifically.
  • Pray for your pastor and his family.
  • Pray for public and private school teachers and administrators.
  • Pray for wisdom and guidance for your city, state, and national government officials.
  • Pray for fathers across the nation.
  • Pray for single parents for God’s provision and encouragement.
  • Pray for abused children that God will bring someone into their lives to tell them about the love of Christ.
  • Pray for God’s protection and peace of mind for our men and women in the military.
  • Pray for divine healing for sick and disabled individuals.

Ask for sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit in all of these situations and watch God respond unfailingly.
